Containment Repair and Scaffolding
Our Work Speaks for Itsefl
Our project for a utilities company is a great example of how we approach challenges head-on. We managed two main scopes: acid containment repair and stack expansion joint scaffolding. Both required us to think creatively and execute precisely, especially since we were working in a busy plant environment.
For the acid containment repair, our team tackled environmental and structural problems caused by acid spills that had damaged the concrete containment area. We started by removing all the compromised concrete, then patched and restored each spot with care. Next, we applied a tough, acid-resistant liner system that left the area with a seamless, durable finish, protecting against future spills and making it easy to clean.
Working inside an active plant meant we had to be creative about dust control, so we set up temporary enclosures to keep the site contained and minimize disruption to ongoing operations. The finished result left our client even more satisfied than they expected. At the same time, we took on stack expansion joint scaffolding. This involved designing and building a scaffold system to access and replace packing joints on an 85-foot-tall process stack — right next to an active, high-temperature unit during the hottest part of the year.
To keep things safe and comfortable, we built cooling enclosures with portable air units and followed strict safety protocols, installing handrails, fall-arrest systems, and only using certified scaffold erectors. Despite the tough conditions, our team got the job done without any heat-related incidents.
Our client recognized us for our safety standards and thorough attention to every detail.
